Asphalt Geogrid 100Kn
Asphalt Geogrid 100Kn is taking glass fiber as the material, adopting knitting process and formed the reticular structure. For the protection of the fiberglass and improvement of the overall performance of geocomposites, a special coating treatment process is added. The main ingredients of asphalt geogrid 100Kn are: silica glass fiber, inorganic materials, and their physicochemical properties very stable, with high strength, high modulus, high abrasion resistance and excellent cold resistance, no long-term creep, good thermal stability, aggregate interlock and restrictions on the network structure. It highly improves the asphalt mixture bearing ability. Because the surface is coated with special modified asphalt, it has dual composite properties, which greatly improves the wear resistance and shear capacity of asphalt geogrid 100Kn.
Asphalt geogrid 100Kn has below features:
1) High tensile strength, low elongation, with the elongation rate is less than 3%.
2) No long-term creep as reinforcing material, have in long-term load under the condition of deformation resistance that the creep resistance is extremely important, glass fiber does not creep, which ensure product can maintain long-term performance.
3) Thermal stability. The melting temperature of glass fiber is above 1000 degrees, which ensures the thermal stability of asphalt geogrid 100Kn in paving operation.
4) The asphalt mixture material compatibility of glass fiber geogrid treatment process after coating is designed for asphalt mixture, every fiber is fully coated with high compatibility with asphalt, so as to ensure that the glass fiber geogrid in the asphalt layer and not in isolation of asphalt mixture but, firmly together.
5) Physical and chemical stability. Through special post processing agent coating, asphalt geogrid 100Kn can resist all kinds of physical and chemical erosion wear, resist biological erosion and climate change, and ensure that its performance is not affected.
6) Lock and limit the aggregate. Asphalt geogrid 100Kn is mesh structure, aggregate in asphalt concrete can be run through them, thus forming a mechanical interlock. This limit hinders the movement of comprehensive, so that the asphalt mixture can achieve better compaction state, higher load-bearing capacity, better load transfer performance and smaller deformation under the condition of load.
