HDPE geogrid is a kind of unixial plastic geogrid produced with three steps. Firstly the high molecular polymer will be extruded to thin plates, and then regular mesh hole will be stamped, and then the plate will be longitudinally stretched. This process make the high molecular become a directionally linear state, and forms an equally distributed, high-strength joint points entirety structure. This kind of structure has very strong tensile strength and modulus, which supplies the soils good ideal bear and spread of strength. The tensile strength of HDPE geogrid is more than 150Mpa and is suitable for all kinds of soil. HDPE geogrid is a widely adopted reinforced material.
HDPE geogrid is mainly used in retaining wall, bridge abutment and Steep slope engineering.
Retaining wall and bridge abutment belong to stressed structure and bears all outer loads. To avoid the structure deformation due to the reinforced material creeping, HDPE geogrid of unixial direction should be chosen.
