The Unixial and Biaxial Plastic Grille is a polymer mesh with square or rectangular shape formed by stretching. According to the difference of the tensile direction of the plastic geotextile, two kinds of uniaxial tension and biaxial tension can be made. It is perforated by extruded polymer plates (mostly polypropylene or high density polyethylene), and then directional stretching is applied under heating conditions. The uniaxial grille is stretched only along the length of the plate, and the biaxial grille continues to stretch the unidirectional grille in the direction perpendicular to its length.
Because the polymer in the Unixial and Biaxial Plastic Grille will be rearranged with the heating extension process, the bonding force between the molecular chains is strengthened and the purpose of improving its strength is achieved. Its elongation is only 10% ~ 15% of the original plate. If carbon black and other anti-aging materials are added to geogrids, they will have better durability such as acid, alkali resistance, corrosion resistance and aging resistance.
