Non-woven Heat Bonded Geotextile is made from PET/PP short fibers that are tangled together by a needle-punching process. The fibers achieve their strength by interlocking. It has excellent water flow rates and are used for filtration of soil fines for drainage applications including trench drains, as a wrapping for perforated pipe, for erosion protection, and combined with three-dimensional structures to create prefabricated drains.
Made from virgin PET chips, continuous filament spunbonded nonwoven geotextile is extruded from PET chip by machine directly with spunbond process, and then punch together to get the stable 3D with higher strength fabric. So it has high strength, good creep property, and excellent erosion resistance, aging-resistance and heat resistance.
The special process of Non-woven Heat Bonded Geotextile is to hot boned the fabric after fabric is produced. This makes the fabric much dense and thin and easier to roll and filled into container.
